WHO:
TOSCANA with Executive Chef Hugo Vasquez and BAR TOSCANA with Chef de Cuisine Justino Quirino. Both Chefs Vasquez and Quirino have been an integral part of the TOSCANA restaurant group learning the art of Tuscan cooking at the sides of the renowned Chefs Agostino Sciandri and Luca Crestanelli.

WHAT:
The TOSCANA Restaurant Group presents the holidays at TOSCANA and BAR TOSCANA on Christmas Eve, December 24, New Year’s Eve, December 31, and New Year’s Day, January 1, with their complete à la carte menu of favorites – a wide selection of risottos, pastas and pizzas, grilled whole branzino, veal chop with butter and sage, Bistecca Fiorentina and a decadent display of stunning house-made desserts. The holiday specials will include the best of the season’s white and black truffles, including white asparagus with organic egg, Parmigiano and truffles and Wagyu Kobe beef tenderloin with baked eggplant mousse and truffles.

TOSCANA will be open for lunch Christmas Eve, making Brentwood a perfect destination lunch after last minute shopping. From 5:30 p.m., Chef Vasquez will prepare holiday specials in addition to the dinner menu. The following week, start New Year’s celebration on Wednesday, December 31, with an early lunch at TOSCANA in the warm and vibrant dining room. Next door, BAR TOSCANA will be serving their evening menu and is ideal for an Italian-styled aperitivo crafted by William Perbellini before dinner at TOSCANA. Stay the evening and have a casual dinner of authentic Italian stuzzichini (small plates) with cocktails or wine in this convivial setting. TOSCANA’s New Year’s Eve will be celebrated with Chef Hugo’s signatures and dishes created for the end of year indulgence. The long time staff ensures a night of conviviality and exemplary service. Wine pairings will be offered by Sommelier Emily Johnston.

Both TOSCANA and BAR TOSCANA will serve dinner on January 1, 2015 from 5:30.
