Take the Whole Family to Maxwells at the Club for an Exceptional Thanksgiving Buffet

This Thanksgiving start a new family tradition by treating yourself and your family to one of Chicago’s best Thanksgiving buffets at Maxwell’s at the Club (500 N. Kingsbury; 312-527-5800 ext. 301). Located inside the East Bank Club and open to the public, Maxwell’s at the Club is one of River North’s hidden gems. The Thanksgiving buffet, available on Thursday, November 26 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., offers a delicious and generous variety of expertly prepared traditional Thanksgiving favorites.

The dinner begins with your choice of 12 different appetizer and salad options. The appetizers include: Chilled Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce and Lemon; Vegetable Slaw with Lemon Vinaigrette; plus Cranberry Sauce and Cranberry Relish. Enjoy colorful and tasty salads: Caesar Salad; Mesclun Salad with Herb Vinaigrette; Kale Salad with Quinoa; Chia Seeds and Cranberry Vinaigrette; Wild Rice Salad with Apples, Raisins and Almonds; Garbanzo Bean Salad; Roasted Vegetable Salad; Caprese Salad; and a Farro Salad with Mixed Mushrooms.

Maxwell’s first-class carving station is next on the menu. Roasted Turkey and Roasted Prime Rib will be carved in-room. The Roasted Turkey will be served with Turkey Gravy and Natural Jus and the Roasted Prime Rib will be served with Au Jus and Horseradish Sauce.

To accompany the delicious carved meats, Maxwell’s will be offering 9 entrées and side dishes. Choose from Sautéed Brussels Sprouts; Sautéed Green Beans with Wild Mushrooms; Roasted Cauliflower, Carrots, Garlic and Onions; Roasted Sweet Potatoes; Mashed Red Skin Potatoes; Cornbread Stuffing; Herb-Crusted Cedar-Planked Salmon; Butternut Squash Ravioli with Kale Pesto and Dried Cranberries; and Sautéed Chicken with Prosciutto and Sage.

Enrich your feast with Maxwell’s bread basket, featuring freshly baked Corn, Blueberry, Flaxseed and Cranberry Muffins in addition to assorted Dinner Rolls and Maxwell’s Signature Bread.

Thanksgiving isn’t a feast without a great dessert, and Maxwell’s leaves nothing out. The dessert table will be a showcase of your favorite autumn treats: sumptuous Pumpkin Pie,
Assorted Cakes and Tortes, Southern Pecan Bars, Raspberry and Cranberry Streusel Bars, Assorted Cookies, and Assorted Cheesecakes, If a lighter dessert is your preference, enjoy Seasonal Fresh Fruits and Berries.
